Q: I've paid, how do I get to, and start class?
A: Sign Back in to your class, click on "My Courses and Information" and click on the "Launch" or "Go" button.
Q: How does the court (referring person) know I completed the Curfew Class?
A: You are automatically authorized to generate a certificate as soon as you complete the curfew class. At registration, if you enter the e-mail address of the person who referred you, that person will automatically be notified of your curfew class registration and completion status. We will, at your request, notify the referring person (or your attorney) of your curfew class completion status.
Q: Will I get a certificate of completion?
A: Upon successful completion of the curfew class, a completion certificate is unlocked and immediately available to you. In addition, upon your request, we can mail, fax or e-mail a Completion Certificate to the Court.
- * Select " Tools " on your toolbar.
- * Then, in the drop down select " Internet Options " at the bottom of the pop up window.
- * Under the "General" Tab, click the word " Delete located in the middle of the window.
- * A new window should have popped up. Put a checkbox by "Temporary Internet Files", "Cookies" and "History". * * Unless you know what you are doing I suggest you uncheck the other options.
- * At the bottom of this window click " Delete " and wait for the files to be deleted.
- * Click "OK" to close the window.
- * Close Internet Explorer and re-open it.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Our online class costs $19.99 for the 2 hour class.
Q: How long does the curfew class take to complete?
A: On average it takes approximately two hours. Depending on how fast you work, your curfew class can take a little longer or a little less. You can start and stop anytime. When you return to the curfew class, the computer will "remember" where you stopped and return you there.
Q: How long do I have to start and finish the curfew class?
A: Usually the person who refers you to Offender Solutions® decides your timeline. We don't impose a timeline on you. We will, however, close your case if there is a significant period of inactivity.
Q: : How many chapters are there?
A: There are a total 8 chapters in the curfew class. Each chapter has an exam at the end before moving on to the next chapter. There is also a curfew class final exam to complete.
Q: I only have 1 day left to get my curfew class done, can I finish it that quickly?
A: Yes, pretty easily if you sit down and get it done. It is more up to you and your willingness to commit. You must still meet our standards when it comes to acceptable test answers.
Q: . Does this curfew class meet the requirement for Curfew Class?
A: Likely yes. To date no referral sources have declined the use of our curfew class. However, you do need to double check with the person who referred you in order to be sure. The good news is that we do offer a money back guarantee.
Q: I am not going to be able to complete my curfew class by the deadline that I was given. What do I do?
A: We would encourage you to: 1. Do everything in your power to attempt to complete on time. 2. Contact your referring person (PO, Judge, Peer/Teen Court, School, Etc.) and ask for an extension. In any case, communicating with everyone involved is very important.
Q: I have a yellow triangle preventing me from starting my chapter. What can I do?
A: If you ever get a yellow triangle icon preventing you from opening a chapter, here is what you can do:
. Double click on the yellow triangle
. Wait for the pop up window to open
. Close the pop up window
Go up to "View" on your toolbar and select "Refresh"
(or hit your F5 key to refresh)
Q: My curfew class is stuck, it starts to open (or close) but isn't opening and the message just says "Wait! Do not close window" What am I suppose to do?
A1: Look to the top of your screen and determine if you have a pop-up blocker message (often a yellow bar in your browser window). Click on the pop-up blocker and in the drop down select "Always allow ..."
A2: If you haven't tuned your computer up recently you could get "stuck" opening a chapter or closing a chapter. The problem is typically easily resolved by cleaning out your "cookies" and or "Temporary Internet Files".
To clean these files out (assuming you are in Internet Explorer) go to the top of Internet Explorer and:

Q: What are you going to try to do to me in your curfew class?
A: Strangely enough this question is quite important! It is of high importance to Offender Solutions® that we don't try to do anything to you. Our curfew class does not try to fix you, change you or tell you what to do. Our curfew class does not judge you. Our curfew class does not try to force anything on you and we have no intent of imposing change on you. Critical to our values is the need to: a) be respectful, b) not be judgmental, c) not try to impose "the truth"and d) not try to impose change. Our curfew class is education oriented.
Q: Tell me about the online curfew class.
A: It really is pretty simple. The first thing you do is to register so you can take your online curfew class - it's free to register. Try not to register more than one time, you will likely lose track of usernames and passwords and need to call our help center.
When you register you will be asked to input your e-mail address. This becomes important because after you register for the online curfew class you will be sent an auto generated e-mail confirming your registration. If you don't get an e-mail right away check your spam or junk-mail to see if it is there. You will also be asked for the e-mail address of the person who referred you to our curfew class (If you have it). It is usually worth taking the time to get that person's e-mail address because that person is sent a confirmation that you got registered for the curfew class and again when you complete your curfew class.
Once you are registered you need to pick your curfew class.

That said, there is no national standard for curfew classes and any judge, Peer Court,Teen Court, Youth Court or School can accept a curfew class or reject it. Q: Can I really take my curfew class anytime - day or night?
A: That's right! You can take your curfew class anytime, day or night, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You also only need to work on your curfew class for as long as you want to. Stop and start when you want - they system will remember where you last ended your curfew class.
Q: Are your curfew class exams difficult to pass?
A: Our exams do have fairly high standards. If you want to be sure to successfully complete any one chapter in your online curfew class you will very likely pass the exam if you simply read the material in that chapter. The only people who report our curfew class exams to be problematic are the people who tried "skimming" without learning. Our exams are typically reported to be easy after the person actually reads the chapter.
Q: What if I need help, have a problem or need support?

Q: How do I get my curfew class completion certificate?
A: After you have completed all of your curfew class, a Completion Certificate is immediately made available to you. Simply go to "My Courses and Information" and choose "Certificates" in the left sided menu. If you want Offender Solutions® to mail or e-mail you a certificate, just ask - no added fee. Mailed curfew class Completion Certificates are embossed and can be sent directly to the person who referred you to our curfew class.
